Busan restaurants
Posted: Tue April 8, 2008 06:58 AM UTC
Hi.

Can anyone suggest any good restaurants (medium to high budget - I'll be with some foreign business associates) in the area of the Lotte hotel? I prefer not to eat in the hotel.

They need to be:

- Asian: Korean and others
- With English menus or English-speaking staff (or if not, food easily identifiable from pictures)

Cheers,

Busan bar update request
Posted: Tue April 8, 2008 06:41 AM UTC
Hi.

Can anyone give me directions from the Lotte hotel to the PNU bar area? I could get the subway there (need clear directions from the subway station, though, as my sense of direction is terrible). Depending on what time the subway closes, I'd probably need to get a taxi back.

Are there any other bar areas or individual expat bars near the Lotte? I'm interested in bars with cheap drink, good music and the opportunity to meet expats and English-speaking locals. I'm not interested in clubs/discos or dance music.

Cheers,

tkdsimes

Busan Jeju-do
Posted: Sun November 18, 2007 07:05 AM UTC
Hi everyone,

Arriving to Busan on the 22nd November from Japan and I'm planning to visit Jeju-do for a few days. I was just wondering if anybody else fancies sharing a car or scooter to see the island - it seems too expensive to do alone and it would be great to meet someone else anyway.

If you're heading in that direction, email me: butidontlikecarrots@hotmail.com.

Cheers,
Joe

Posted: Sat November 17, 2007 08:06 PM UTC
Could you please give me some tips where the Photo gear shops situated. The price and quality ratio factor is dominating :)Pentax and Leica are of the particular interest. Digital rangefinders (Epson or Leica) as well.
I am interested mostly in used one, but shops with new gear would be appreciated as well.
Thanks in advance.

Busan Anyone used the Chinese Consulate in Busan
Posted: Fri July 13, 2007 05:09 AM UTC
I need to get a Chinese Visa while in Korea. I work during standard business hours, so it is not always easy to get to either Busan or Seoul to visit the government offices while they are open.

There is an Embassy in Seoul, and there is a Consulate in Busan. Busan is much easier to get to for me. Has anyone used this office to obtain a Chinese Visa?

Busan Night clubs
Posted: Thu September 7, 2006 09:00 AM UTC
Howzit. I used to live in Seoul and while there did a couple of fire-dancing performances at clubs like M2, Limelight, Spyclub etc. Are there any huge and 'happening' clubs where I could do this in Busan? I will be there for 3 months and this would be really helpful info to have before I go.
Thanks a million!
