Hello all! Anyone know of a bedroom that can be rented for July 4 - Aug. 21, or there around the dates for me and my daughter (5 yrs.)? Hotels don't rent for more than 25 days and I don't need a year contract for an apartment. The summer rentals have some openings but nothing throughout the summer. All seem to be booked in between the dates.
Any advice for something reasonably priced, all help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED! elizabethgm@live.com

I am planning vacation in the village of Sainte Agnes in August 2008. I am wondering how difficult is to drive to Menton or other coastal locations from the village. Is there any bus service between Sainte Agnes and Menton or other coastal towns?

Hi, We are travelling to Switzerland,France and Italy in June/July and I'm trying to find out the best way to TRAIN TRAVEL. We will be starting train travel in Zurich travelling to Florence then Florence to Menton.
Does anyone know if a euro-rail pass covers this route or are seperate tickets a better way to go?? The internet sights are a little confusing or not active anymore!!

I'm travelling to Menton in MAy and all the best priced flights leave early in the morning form Nice. Is it easy to get a taxi / train early in the morning?

We are staying at the hotel princess Richmond in menton and our reason for staying in this area is the reviews i have read about the area and of course the lemon festival . I would be grateful if anyone could give me some ideas on other places to visit on the french and italian riviera . Also could I easily get to cervo in italy from here we will have a car , Or would the train be better .

I am thinking of coming to menton for the lemon festival - what kind of weather can i expect in february .And would it be very busy - would i be able to book a hotel easy .

Has anyone done some walking in Menton that they would recommend? Perhaps you could suggest a good book with walks that you've tried. Thanks.

We will be flying into Nice for 3 nights in March. I have stayed at Nice before
and was wondering whether there would be enough to do if we stayed in Menton instead for the 3 nights, or would 2 be enough,with one night in Nice or somewhere else. Are there any must visit restaurants, lively bars and places to visit (by train or bus) into Italy for example.

im staying in nice for 4 nites and have booked to stay in menton,s orly hotel between my nice stay for 1 nite. was looking to see has any 1 stayed here.and hows transport between nice and menton

I am interested in booking day tours to several small towns that are difficult to reach with-out a car and without transferring from train to bus, i.e. Vence, St.Paul de Vence, Eze. Has anyone used this type of tour from either Nice or Menton?

I am planning on changing accomadations to Hotel Richelieu. Has any one stayed at this hotel? or any information on it? such as how far from Train station, Beaches , city centre etc?
