Dear Guangzhou VT,

I am planning to land at Guangzhou Baiyun Airport from Guiyang. May i know how to travel from the Guangzhou Airport to Macau for my AirAsia flight back to Singapore via Senai, Malaysia?

Please advise.

I have the problem that i cannot travle in the train from Guangzhou east rail station back to HongKong, with many luggage, can anybody tell me what can i do to carry my 2 luggage of 32 kg each to HUM HOM or the Hong Kong airport? thank you////

I plan to visit GZ this Saturday, Jan 20th. I like to go to:

1- Qing Ping Market
2- Beijing Lu
3- closest Bus Terminal to go to Zhuhia.

I could switch between 1 and 2 depending on their distance from each other and to location of the bus terminal.

Hi,me and my family are thinking of visiting Guangzhou from 6-10 of February. Is it a good time to visit Guangzhou during that time as it is the Chinese new year?

Will it be difficult to get transport around the city such as Taxis? Would the shops such as those in Beijing road or Shang xia jiu road be open during this period?

Where can I find:

1 - Carpet market to buy a nice asian carpet or kilim(iranian, persian, turkish or similar ... as long as it looks good! Either in Guangzhou or the surrounding like Foshan, etc.

2 - Furniture carpet to find either antique Chinese furniture or new furniture inspired by traditional Chinese furniture style. Once again, either in Guangzhou or suburbs.

which airlines fly our of guangzhou airport? i know china southern flies to Hong kong but I can't find any reasonably priced flights to any of the above cities in vietnam, cambodia or bangkok..except teh regulat vietnam airlines, etc.. I checked air asia and they fly out of macau. I have to fly from Guangzhou without leaving the airport becausr I don't have a visa for china.

I'll begin with a few days in Guangzhou and spend New Year + few days in HK to be back in Guangzhou a couple of days before heading back home.

by myself and meeting a Maylasian associate of mine there. I have
found a
guide however would like to compare services and rates of other guides
in guangzhou. Also this will be my first trip to the far east. I
wanted to know if I will have any difficulty finding my connecting
flight in Tokyo or other cities. Also are there any services the
airlines offer that will make my fligh easier to get back and forth
from guangzhou, or is it not really an issue?

Later this month, we are staying at FVO @ Fountain Resort which they list as Xichong Bay, Kuichong, Longaang District Shenzhen, Guangdong 518119. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about this place. Where is Kuichong in relation to Shenzhen downtown? I assume it's on the coast. How far from Dapeng Fortress? Is it a nice place to stay? Any help or suggestions appreciated.
