Shenzhen Urgent: Lockers at SZX? (Shenzhen Aiport)
Posted: Wed September 16, 2009 06:46 PM UTC
Hi, travelling from Shenzen to Beijing via Shanghai and back, we would like to leave some of our luggage behind at Shenzen Airport.

Is it possible to store 2 (bigger) suitcases at Shenzhen Airport (SZX) for a longer period > 2 weeks ?

The website of SZX is giving just a little bit of info, but nothing very concrete.

Thanks for any replies or other suggestions!

Ohyeah, we're around in Asia for like 5 months, hence all the suitcases.

Posted: Mon July 6, 2009 01:22 PM UTC
Hi,
We've got a stop-over in HK on the first leg our round the world trip and were considering going into Shenzhen for a day to buy clothes for the trip. Can anyone please give me an idea of prices for some clothing, so that we can work out whether its worth our time and money with visas and travel from HK? We were thinking of buying hiking jackets, pants and shoes as well as tshirts etc (Columbia, North face etc).
Thanks in advance for your help!

Posted: Fri July 3, 2009 10:03 AM UTC
Hi all,
Last year in May I was staying in Metropark Hotel Shengzhen. I saw a coach parked outside the main entrance with the sign say to Macau (or maybe Zhuhai).

Can anyone confirm that if I can board the coach from there, if not where is the nearest coach station.

Thanks for your help.

Shenzhen Quesitions about Shen zhen
Posted: Mon May 25, 2009 08:14 AM UTC
Hi All,

We will be going to ShenZhen for day trip from Hong Kong.

1) So we will take a MTR to Lo Wu and cross border from there. Immediately we should see Shenzhen's Line 1 Luo Hu and nearby there is Luohu Commercial City where we can shop. Is this correct?

2) Some of us wants to go for a massage instead of shopping. I think we should be going to Queen Spa. How do we go there from Luo hu?

3) Is Happy Valley worth visitng?

Shenzhen Shenzhen/Hong Kong
Posted: Sun May 3, 2009 11:21 AM UTC
I will visit Hong Kong and Shenzhen in June and would like to know in which area the best hotels are to be close to the popular shopping areas for electronics. I would also like to stay in an area where there is some entertainment and where it is close to most central shopping areas. I do not speak any Chinese or Mandrin and will thins be a problem in Shenzhen.

I would also like to know the best way of getting to Shenzhen from Tsim Tsa Tsui in Hong Kong. I will first stay in Hong Kong for a few days and then travel on to Shenzhen.

A last question si also if I can get a visa at the border between Hong Kong and Shenzhen and the cost of this visa and duration.

I will also apreciate any kind of advice and warnings if there are any.

Shenzhen Cheaper alternatives from Macau to Shekou except Turbojet
Posted: Tue April 28, 2009 10:57 AM UTC
I will be getting from Macau to Shekou.

Any cheaper alternatives other than Turbojet Ferry that cost me HKD171?

How about departing from fro New Macau Ferry Terminal? Any ferries there? Cheaper?

If really have to take Turbojet, on a Tuesday, do you think we should book our tickets online first?

Thanks!
