My girlfriend and I are planning to stay at the Mui Ne sailing club in early Jan 2005. I am woundering what the weather and beachs might be like at that time of year? ALSO has any one any opinion on the Sailing Club (Mui Ne) - we were thinking of lashing out and stay in a beachfront bungalow for 7 days.

Hello,
The weather in Mui ne should be fine in January. The Vietnamese fishermen have a saying somthing like this : The elderly women best sail the sea in march. The sea must be very calm, i guess. You can reserve one or two days. Get there and then ckeck around but It may not be a good idea then since Jan is the high season there. globe_trekker

Hello
As I know January is very windy time . Also the water here is a bit sandy. So it's not the best location if you just want lie on the beach. We are also going to be in January but for kitesurfing Best regards))))
