HI, I am travelling to Nijmegen this weekend on business trip. any tips on getting around? making friends etc., as I will be there for 4 weeks. Also I want to travel to Paris one weekend..what's the best way? Train or Bus or Air?

About the Paris trip. There are usually quite cheap offers at travel agents. Then you go for 3 or for days by bus and you can decide whether or not you'll join the excursions or not. But you'll be traveling a day on the way there and almost the same comiong back. But it is good value for money. Another option is to go by train (Thalis or normal) but that is a bit more expensive. Some travelagents (on or off net) have good package deals on this.
For things in and around Nijmegen, browse through the various pages. There is a lot to see and do. Just don't forget to visit all the castles. Wijchen, Hernen, and more... Have fun
