Bacau Travel Forum

any tips about Bacau??

hi there!
i'm travelling end october to Bacau City. Already found out that a trainticket from Bucharest to Bacau costs 10 euro. Anyone thats been ever there and can give me some hints about the do's and dont's there?
I'm staying with a girl overhere but i want to be prepared if i be there.
Any information is welcome, its not a city you find in the touristinformation i found out.

I have been to Bacau several times. It's not a touristic city, but it's a quite one. You can find here a great park, some interesting buildings (the old one) and a few great churches. They have a pretty good theater, the memorial house of the romanien poet George Bacovia. I advise you to visit the surroundings!

the site you gave me really helps! I know their isnt that much to see, but from their i like to explore the surroundings and vissit the Tristan tzara memorial in Moinesti.
