if anybody has any info about how to travel to siwa and what to take with me in my trip to Siwa??or where i can stay in good cheap hotel in there?? this will be great help for me.

The best is to get to Alexandria and then take a direct bus to Siwa.

About cheap hotel : go to Youssef hotel, same price as Palm Trees hotel but with less mosquitos and a bit cleaner. Palm Trees hotel is fine for the garden.

About safaris you'll find many people doing it around, check this link in case you want to contact them before:

But it's better to see once there to join other travellers and get lower cost.

i already live in Alexandria(Egypt)but when i asked my people about traveling there they couldn't help me much cause they never been there.

i'm going with my mom,so i'd prefer to join travellers group around there..

I was planning to go to siwa from Jagboub - Libya which is just 60 km far from this amazing and lovely village . I heard about the festivals of dates overthere and would like to get more information knowing that it's too early.
Well siwa is very close to the Libyan border.... I should use my car, but how is the road between Jagboub and Siwa.

According to what I know there's only one road to go from the coast to Siwa it 's the road Marsah Matrouh/Siwah.

So once you are in Bugbug (the town in Egypt next to the border, is it this one you're talking about?), you'll have to go to Marsa and then Siwah. There are many mines on each side of the road... so it may be a bit dangerous to cut the way;

well , u may arrive 2 Alexandria airport , takes a bus from Alx to Siwa . u havnot 2 take anything cause everything is there , just a sleeping back if u wanna have a night at desert . there r a lot of hotel there & they r cheap . begin from 2 dollars per night till 400 $ per night . i recommend u cleopatra hotel ( about 4 dollars or Aros el-waha ( nearly same price , enjoy ur visit there . it is a paradise !!!
