| Teotihuacán | So Little Time... Posted: Sun August 29, 2004 02:52 PM UTC
Hi All,
We will be staying overnight in Mexico City, then the following day we need to be at the airport by 7.00pm. I just HAVE to see the Teotihuacan Site - as much as I can in what little time we have. If we leave Mexico City approx 7am, do you think this is enough time to get the most out of a visit? I really don't want to miss out on anything. I would welcome any advice, or recommendations you may have. Thanks Heaps! Sel. |

I don't blame you for wanting to see it so much. It is truly wonderful. I first saw it by air and knew that I had to go there.
There are regular buses from the Norte Bus Station there and back all day, so it should be easily doable for you. There are also some portions of the site that are a bit more obscure and you may be able to see some of them as well. Your hotel will probably keep your bags for you if you ask. Just lock them up and leave them where asked. In the unlikely event that the hotel will not do that, the bus station is likely to have a place to pay to leave luggage. I didn't notice one there, but I was not looking. At another city where I WAS looking, I found it. If you have left your bags, you can take the Metro to the Norte bus station. Keep your hand(s) on any valuables in your pockets there and quickly back away from any disturbance while still keeping your hand on your wallet, at least. Better yet, leave most things of any value behind in your locked bag. Good luck!
