| Linz | To Linz from Cesky Krumlov Posted: Thu August 26, 2004 01:06 PM UTC
Hi! I'm going to be in Cesky Krumlov in mid-Sept and was wondering if it would be worth my while to go to Linz for a day? If so, how long by train from Cesky Krumlov or Cesky Budjevoice?
What historical attractions has Linz? THANKS! |

I went to Linz for some hours, 6 i think and it was great. They have a small train up to mountains where they have a museam inside a rock it is nice to see. And the city it is beautiful.
I went by train from Wien don't now more.

Hi !
I made a search on www.oebb.at and saw that the train takes about 6 hours one way, while with a car it is less than 2 hours. It is simply the connections of the trains are terrible with long waiting times. C.Budejovice / Budweis is nice as well and pretty close ! Trebon is nice as well, rather close but with bad connections as well...

Cool! Thanks! I think I'll probably hit Bratislava, Brno or Vienna, as it's less time...
