Hi there - please please please could somebody tell me what to expect from the weather in samoa in November. Also, I have got 11 days planned for Samoa - do you think that is too much?
Hi Sarah I am going to Samoa for 7 days in late October. I expect the weather will be hot - 30C will be normal. I have had any responce from this site but I found the Thorn Tree - http://thorntree.lonelyplanet.com/ - to be really helpful. Have a nice trip Ray
Sorry about not replying to your posting imediately. Wheaterwise November is in the beginning of the rainy season (from Now to April). I visited Samoa in February, which is in the rainy season, but did not get a lot of rain - just a few short afternoon showers. When it comes to your question if 11 days is to much, the answer is no. With 11 days you may have just about enough time to get to experience Upolu and Sawaii, but there are lots of things to se and do and you'll met people you want to spend some time to get to know and places you would like to stay at more than a few hours. I met some fellow country(wo)men who returned from OZ to spend another two months in Samoa.
I hope you'll have a great time in paradise - and that you get as fascinated by the place and its people as I am.
Hi, I was there in April and was somehow dissapointed in the waterfalls having not that much water. April is the end of the rainy season and therefore there is not that much water running so November would be great to get that fantastic picture taken. I stayed there for I think 9 days way too short, I only got a glimpse of 'Upolu. So I'd say that even 11 days are too short. So don't think that you get bored if you stay there for 11 days, you won't.
Hi! I am doing research about samoa (sociology, culture, tourism). Can i ask you a few questions about your samoan experience? then just write to: nordic042003@yahoo.de
We will be there in early November and I expect it will warm and humid. We are only there for 7 days, wish it was more. Currently the weather in Fiji is around 30C with showers and that is not that far from Samoa.
