Lop Buri Travel Forum

the first night from our hollidays we are going to stay in Lop Buri. Can you recommend a guesthouse?

Hi Beatrice,
we stayed in Lopburi last year in February in the Lopburi Inn hotel. The hotels fine, around 500 - 600 Bhat (around 11 Euro) per double room per night, the rooms were big, clean and the service is fine. Unfortunatly it's not that near to the sightseeing spots in Lopburi, you have to go there by car or taxi.
If you want to do some sightseeing, we were very impressed of the old palace of king narai (only ruins, but wunderful surroundings and with some phantasy....).
If you have any other questions - ask ;-)

I stayed at the Asia Hotel for 300B ac hw tv, walk to all ruins, great location. There is a night market that sets up along the railroad tracks 2 blocks from the hotel.
The hotel was clean enough, tv, ac, hw. Nice staff.
Walk to the train station. Need a car or moto to get to the bus station.
