Assuming someone else wants this somewhere down the line - for absolute cheapness AND trustworthiness go for Hotel Agadir in Fes-Jdid. Fes-Jdid has a rep for being rough but honestly I have never had a problem there and Karim at Hotel Agadir is one cool cat.
