What exactly do you need to know? There are regular busses but no subway...
In the worst case, taxis were not too expensive and a safe bet to go out...

Much the same as everywhere else in the UK. Available, but often not exactly where or when you want it.

The main roads have buses every few minutes through the day but outer suburbs are probably only a 30 minute or hourly service at the best.
Hull really needs a tram system.
Where do you need to travel to and from?

The bus station has now been relocated to the Albion Street car park to allow a new one to be built.

But hardly anyone knows where their bus stops in town now, so asking people wouldn't be good. Try the station office.

Be careful if you're travelling on a bus at night because there are vandals and drunk people.

I agree that Hull needs a tram system, like Sheffield has. It would make the city less polluted and would be a better option. I wish the city council spent the money for the giant TV on a tram system instead.
