I am a middle aged individual who plans to study spanish in one of the Intensive Spanish programs in Guanajuato - does anyone have any schools they have attended that they would recommend or that they suggest I avoid?

I suggest you better spanish school options in Cuernavaca... more than 20 there

I studied at the academia falcon in Guanajuato. IT was a great school and the students varied in age from 21-71 so it was great!

I went to Don Quijote language school in Guanajuato, which is right in town, and I thought it was brilliant! Students were aged from 17-60odd just in the month I was there. Also its just a really wonderful town, I can't recommend staying in guanajuato highly enough personally!
