| Rennes | Rennes Accomodation Posted: Wed August 18, 2004 11:13 AM UTC
As I said in my last question, I am looking for budget accomodation in Rennes. I would prefer to stay in the Centre or close to a metro point.
Has any one been to the Le Marechal Joffre Hotel, the De Leon Hotel or The D'Angleterre Hotel?? I found them in a booklet from the tourist office and on various websites but there aren't any photos any where. What I am looking for is a simple but clean room. Thanks every one |

Try the following.
http://www.arvorhotel.com/ (only in French) http://www.logis-de-france.fr/uk The second web site is in English. Type in Rennes and you will find two hotels under Bretagne. The Hotel Arvor is by the train station so is centrally located. Both sites have photos. I haven't stayed in it (or in Rennes), but the Logis de France hotel chain is reliably clean and comfortable. There is usually a very nice restaurant in the hotel too. The Logis de France reservation system is excellent. We've used it for years. Another web site to consider is http://www.france.com and type Rennes in the search window. Good luck.
