My boyfriend is from Auburn, NY and I want to see pictures of the town he grew up in since he doesn't have any, can you tell me the name of the High Schools there? Pictures of the neighborhoods, bars & grills, and the nightlife?

This small city in central New York State is best known for being the location of Auburn Correctional Facility, a maximum security prison for men. When New Yorkers hear the word Auburn the immediate association is the prison. You could do an Internet search to find out what else Auburn has.

I live in Auburn and as previously posted...yes, there is a maxium security prison ....and it is right in the center of town! :-(
There is only one public highschool, Auburn Highschool . There is also a very small Catholic highschool., Tyburn Academy.
Nightlife...mmmmmm there are no nightclubs. No places to really go dancing. There are a few bars that are quite popular. I don't like bars, but the popular ones are on State street ( the same street the prison is on! ) ....Curley's and Spirits. There are a few others.

Auburn is on Owasco Lake and there is a park there . Sometimes there are events there. One of the biggest events in Auburn is the Great Race. It was held just last weekend. Hundreds of teams from allover the country come.It is race which consists of a runner, a cyclist and two canoeist. It is a huge event here. Most people come for the bands and the party at the lake,

We gets LOTS of snow . This whole area does.
