Which is the better place to stay?

Hi, I am staying in KK for four nights in September with my husband and two girls (aged 3 & 11).

I am tossing up between staying at either the Seaside Travellers Inn or the Lankah Syabus Beach Resort.

They are both near eachother. Does anyone know which one is better for (closest to) beach, pool, rooms, dining etc.?

Is it better to go on the island trips offered by these motels or go to the pier at KK?

Thanks, any help would be appreciated.

sorry, don't know about those hotels, do you have the general address? then I can "research" for you. :-)
day trip can be arranged from various jetty's.
Ferry leaves every half hour from the Gayana Island Jetty ("MerryBrown Jetty" ). Reasonable price & convenient.
Bring sun-block. Gets very hot!

Hi,

If you travel with kids, I think Langkah Syabas is the better place. The chalets are really built around the wimming pool. The only thing is that the restaurant is catering for Western Cuisine and not the Asian things.

For day trips, Langkah Syabas is offering snorkling trips which are not that expnsive to the island Deniwan, but from KK jetty it is also possible.
Transport is in front of the resort and you never wait longer then 5 minutes. Local transport is really cheap.
