Leaning Tower Tour

I am planning a day trip to Pisa on 02 December from Rome. What are my options on guided tours in Leaning Tower of Pisa ? I am arriving at Pisa station at 9:30 in the morning and departing for Venice 1:18 train in the afternoon.

Hi !

You will be there on a thursday in December, so I am quite sure, you will be able to get such a tour.
Within 20 minutes you may walk to the tower from the train-station, head directely to the booking-office behind the tower and you will get a ticket for the next tour available. - the 1st one is at 10.00a.m. if I am not mistaken.
Be there in time and the tour takes 30 minutes, up and down included.

Have a look on my Pisa-page for more sights in Pisa, most of them are just around the tower !

i agree with my friend michael - just buy a ticket.
but after that you should see also the other building in the area - not only the leaning tower

As you have limited time, you may want to pre-book your tickets for the tower, so you can definitely visit at the time you wish.

That said, not sure how busy it would be at that time of year anyway......

You can get an organised tour or do it yourself. There was some building work going on when we visited Pisa, so we were given time slots to go up the tower. It may be wise to book in advance since you have just a few hours at Pisa
