Hello.
I am Konstantin and I live in Kaliningrad. I am supposed to fly from Warsaw airport in the morning (local time 6:40). Could you inform me what time I should arrive to airport for international registration(fligt to USA)? What is the better way of getting to Warsaw from Olstyn to this time and could you give me the bus and train shedule from Olstyn to Warsaw.

Hi Konstantin,

For flight to USA you have to check-in at least 120 minutes before departure.
The best way to get from Olsztyn to Warsaw is indeed by train.
You could take an express train at 23.07 from Olsztyn Glowny, arrival in Warszawa Centralna at 3.05 (non-stop)

From Warszawa Centralna it is still approx. 10 km to the International Airport.
You can get there by taxi or by bus.
A taxi will cost you approx. 25 PLZ, but this is a day rate, not sure but I think at 3 am it will be still a night rate. While in Olsztyn, you could call MPT Radio Taxi in Warsaw, phone: 022/ 919, to confirm the fare cost and eventually to order a taxi just after arrival of your train.

If you decide to go by bus, you will have to take a night bus No 611. The bus-stop is just outside the train station Warszawa Centralna. To catch your flight you could take the bus at 3.15 or the next one at 3.45
You can buy a bus ticket at the Train Station in the newspaper kiosk or directly from the bus driver. If they don’t speak English try to say in Polish: bilet autobusowy na lotnisko :))

Be aware - the train at 23:07 from Olsztyn is not Express, but "fast" train and runs ONLY on selected days, not everyday!!!
