me and my partner are staying here in novem 20th-4th dec and have apartments. we have a hire car for seven days what is the weather like and do you know any good places espeacially traditional ones...to eat drink and be merry????/ also we want to travel to spanish border thanks xxx

You and your partner will love Alvor we have just bought an apartment there and are going back in August and October this year.
I have not been in December before however we were told by the Portuguese that it was warm and clear blue skies last December however you will probably need a jacket at night. There are 2 restaurants on the promenade and they serve traditional Portuguese food especially fish of the day.Our favourite restaurants are Casa Do Ria opposite the fishermans huts (great at lunch times) and Al Dente.
We have travelled over to Spanish borders and I think you would love the little town of Ayamonte.
By the way you are supposed to pay an extra charge to the hire car firm if you intend to go over the border I think it is around 50 euros.

November December could have rain and 10ºc minimun temperature, you'll use a jacket at day time too. i think

Just got back from Alvor, love the place more than ever, have added on some good places to eat. The weather was pretty good while I was there, it only rained once!!
