On a sunday the only way to get there is by bus and i can get as far as Monks Heath. Whats the best way to walk from there?

The roads aren't great for walking on, they are quite busy and there aren't always pavements. I'm not sure where you're coming from, but have you looked at the possibility of getting a train to Goostrey, which I think is on the Crewe - Manchester line? This is a tiny place so there won't be many trains on a Sunday, but it's worth looking at. I don't know if the engineering works affect that line at the moment. Goostrey is quite close to Jodrell Bank. Hope this helps.

Sorry, I meant to add that a walk from Monksheath to Jodrell Bank would be around 6 - 7 miles long. You'd need to follow the road towards Chelford (the A537), then follow the signs to Goostrey down the A535. I think if it was me I'd look into getting a train via Crewe and save my feet!
