Hopefully in one week, the weather will be much better!! With a few friends, I will be following the "LF9 - NAP-route" http://www.fietsplatform.nl/lf9/lf.html We plan to stay in different campings, are they completely packed at this time of the year? The question is do we need to book them in advance (boring) or is it ok to decide on the way where and when we stop...
Due to the continueing rainy weather there will be cancellations. There is weather improvement forcasted for the 2nd half of next week and you can expect a rush to the coastal campings.
Here are some links to accomodations for cyclists: http://www.fietspad.nl/Overnachten/ http://www.trekkershutten.nl/english/index_uk.html
At the next link you find links to smaller campings per Dutch Provence.
Thanks for the info! You seems to be the dutch expert in cycling ;-)
Btw side question, a couple of years ago, I was quite shocked by a flemish friend : apparently for them, it is quite common/normal to "swap" bicycles. You got yours stolen, you just steal another one... How is it in the Netherlands? Is it safe to leave a locked bicycle in a city or should we always keep an eye on them?
Since this would be our main mean of transportation, it wouldn't be funny at all if a bicycle (or even just a wheel) got stolen...

JF .....nono its not normal to swap bycicles here in the netherlands nor do we steal another one! But its true a lot of bikes are stolen... the best thing u can do is to find a place where u can leave ur bike for maybe 1 or 2 euro. At most stations (NS) u can park ur bike 24 hrs or more
