I have not been to Yulin but Peter Hessler writes about it in his book, River Town. Great book. It does not sound as the wall is much to see at Yulin as it has not been restored... but then that could be the beauty of it. The landscape in Yulin is very barren.
Have you been to Yulin yet?

Wow! Thank you for your answer. I have never been to Yulin Great Wall and i posted this question in 2004. so I don't even rembember, why I posted it. I'll look fot the book.
