We are four adults and four children going to perros guirec in summer. Where should we go and what should we do with the kids to give them a great first experience of france.

This is a lovely area of Bretagne, There are some beautiful beaches along the Cote de Granite Rose especially at Tregastel, Perros & Trebeurden. A day trip to the Sept Ils (Seven Islands) might be nice on a calm day, you can get the boat from Perros itself. There are lovely old town & villages in the area, Treguier stands out from memory as being particularly nice & during August they have festival days on Wednesdays. All the local towns will have market days which are great to meet the locals. The tourist office or your campsite should have details of which days the markets fall on.
There are not a great deal of actual attractions to visit, I have been to Perros twice & love it, watch the sun set on the pink rocks & at least 1 visit (a day!!) to a creperie is a must! I recommend the Brittany Lonely Planet for more info about the other local places of interest. Have a wonderful trip Bon Voyage Nicola (~_~)
