Hi,
Any recommendations for a nice place to go in the north of Israel with my 17-year-old daughter at the end of July?
I'd like somewhere "green" so I can relax; she wants a pool and possibly disco or whatever in the evening.

In the north western Galilee there is beautiful village of Amirim, they have few Zimmer's there. Here is one contact: http://www.amirim.org.il/

Of course there are plenty other places and I am sure martin will add here soon few good links, but this one is a place that I personally visited and can recommend.

Kibbutz Ayelet Hashahar, in the Galilee also has a 4 * hotel on it, swimming pool, horse riding, shooting range, arrange jeep tours etc. Also they do tours of the kibbutz plus there is a nightclub on site.

There are not too many resorts in northern Israel that fulfil your wish... there are many BB establishments (too many...), but those usualy do not include too much enterteinment for teen agers. Real "hotels" exist mostly in urban places (Tiberias, Haifa, Zfat, Nazeret), but those are not Green&relaxing.

I guess that the combination of hotels and a "Kibbutz" would be most fulfiling. Such resorts, that include both the feeling of being in nature, and both the facilities of a modern hotel (+facilities of the Kibutz) exist in:
