I assume you mean USA as in "United States of America"? This is the forum for a place called Usa in Nigeria. You might want to put your posting again into the correct forum to get the right responses.

Hello Lovelypearl,
It's truly not difficult, and an agent is not actually required. Simply travel to the US Consulate or embassy in Nigeria and apply for a visa. If that is too far or too dangerous of a trip for you, for a Small Fee you can ask a visa expediter to perform the work for you. The fee should be nominal, so take care not to be overcharged by someone who thinks you don't know your way around. Also, use Google to find the address of the US embassy in Nigeria. You will find lots of people who will feed you with unwanted information, but nothing will make sense until you actually lay your eyes on the proper forms, in person, and read the requirements. I am a pilot for a Nigerian-based company and travel through Lagos regularly. See ya!

Hi - check http://abuja.usembassy.gov/general_information2.html for information.

According to the US Consulate,

Qualifying for a Non-Immigrant Visa

Under U.S. immigration law, applicants for many categories of non-immigrant visas, including tourist and student visas, are presumed to be intending immigrants. To qualify for a visa, applicants must clearly demonstrate their intent to depart the United States after a temporary stay and to abide by the purpose of the visa (business, tourism, study, etc.).

Applicants usually demonstrate their intent to depart the United States by proving that they have a stable family and economic situation to which they must return.

Applying for a Non-Immigrant Visa

Non-immigrant visa applicants can schedule interview appointments at http://nigeria.usembassy.gov and select from all available dates. Mail-in applications are no longer accepted.

Read everything carefully and supply all the required papers. You will have to appear at the consulate for an interview. You must prove that you have sufficient reason to leave the US. A visa is not guaranteed!! And any agent that tells you they can get you a visa is lying!!!! Good luck!
