| Bethany Beach | Getting to BWI Posted: Sat July 3, 2004 09:32 PM UTC
Hello Oh-Worldly-Ones!
I know this is a shot in the dark, but does anyone know if there is a shuttle service from anywhere in the Delaware beaches (or Ocean City) to BWI? I'm trying to avoid having friends drive me to the airport and waste an entire day at the beach! Thanks very much, Kelly Anne |

Wish there was -Kelly Ann - your best bet is to rent a car Enterprise in Rehoboth/Lewes and leave it in BWI. That would cost $ OR Next would be Greyhound or other bus company from OC over there. I live in Atlanta (I am from Wilmington DE) but traveled to RB most of last year every month to see my girl friend and just flew out of Salisbury Airport on US Air (check their web site) which does have direct flights to BWI or they may have to go through PHL. Think the cost is less than $100.00 but may be the best way. You could contact BWI on internet or phone and ask the same question -THERE just may be a bus service direct there - when you find out anything let me know, Best of Luck, Wayne

There's an airport in Salisbury and you might get a connecting flight from there.

It is possible to fly out of Salisbury, but the only place they seem to go from there is Philadelphia. Here's the bus schedule.

Thanks for your suggestions...
GrandmaR, I'll give the limo company a call, but I think it will be more than I want to spend! I think I'm going to take the Greyhound to Wilmington, then Amtrak to BWI. I used to live in Wilmington and took the train often, so am comfortable with this plan... Thanks to everyone who responded!
