First VT-Canoe-meeting!
Wanted: adventurous members with good sense of humour and strong arm muscles to paddle. Where: at the National resort of the Zuid-Hollandse Biesbosch near Dordrecht in the Netherlands. Pictures at %l[http://www.virtualtourist.com/vt/6f4b7/] VT-Biesbosch pages%l*. This will be a weekend meeting starting from morning on Saturday 25th September till the next Sunday afternoon. Equipment you need to bring: a tent or shelter to keep you dry at night, a sleeping bag, a lunch packet and your little private bar `-) Equipment we bring: everything for a big barbeque on Saturday evening. Canoes and waterproof barrels are provided by the organiser. The maximum amount that can join is 16 people. Price BBQ and boats included approx 50 euro/pp. More details on request. |

I'm interested, Biesbosch looks really nice!
But knowing my level of canoe-ing, I can't promise whether I'll be fun or more like a hassle :-))))) Anyway, keeping track of the posting.

How perfect !! Rudy... can't be better, this is the only weekend I have to work in September ...:-))

Sounds great !!! Did some canoeing already on our "Linge" as well as in Groningen, Overijssel and the Ardennes. The Biesbosch is also still unknown territory for me and I know it's best to discover by boat. Please, do keep me updated about this wonderful idea. Greetings from the East ... Paul

Glad to hear some reaction here, the Biesbosch is a very nice area and we have a very experienced guide with us.
Els: Don’t worry, but 2 women in a canoe usually don’t work…. LOL Alain: You made me do it !!! hahaha Carin: it’s a pity you are in the Oekr. But you have experience :-) Paul : you can’t miss this!! Maybe Ilja is a bit to young I guess. If you like some more info please mail me !! Cheers
