Hello all, I have 3 questions for those more knowledgeable than I am:
1) :?: why is it that most Anglo-saxons hardly ever mention Basilicata/Calabria in forums etc. and expats too, even Brits, seem to avoid these areas in relocation? 2) :?: I am planning a visit there and would like to know which communes-towns are badly impacted by depopulation & out-migration of young locals, and if you think that a westerner might be welcome (or feel comfortable) to spend a few months there 3) :?: which coastal towns in Basilicata (both sides)and which on the Ionic side of Calabria north of Crotone have the loveliest sandy beaches? or the nicest to stay in for a while? |
