Hello,

I went to PEI when I was much younger. Enjoyed Cavendish Beach the best, and Cavendish township (L.M. Montgomery's home). The beach is very pretty, but you can't go walking around wherever you want. We visited Charlottetown and Summerside breifly, and they were nice. If you're going to be there for a while, you'll be able to see everything; PEI is small enough that you can see quite a bit of it in 2-3 days.

We were in PEI in July 2002.

Two best beaches were the Nat'l Park beach near
Greenwich and Souris Beach on the east coast.

Since it has been a cool summer to date the water will be cool as it was in 2002 .

Hi i'm from Italy but I spent 8 months in PEI. The south shore is warmer than the north one (Chelton Beach close to Borden) but is full of jellyfish and the sand is not so nice.I suggest you cavendish beach on the National Park (full of tourists) and my favourite Thunders Cove. Go visit New Glasgow..very nice place!
Have fun in Pei
