forgot to ask about beaches

Are there beaches or swimming pools or some other places (possibly crowdy) in Aalborg where the danes used to go during the day in august?

I'd say most go to the famous beaches around the northern tip of Jutland since it's so close.

Yes, most people from Aalborg head to the beaches in Blokhus or Løkken when the weather get hot!

There is also the possibility to visit an "Open Air Pool" socalled "Friluftsbadet" Natural salt water is on a natural way placed in huge pools.
2km west of the city centre.....Enjoy Aalborg

All good answers. Not far from Aalborg (15 min by bus) there is an olympic sice pool. Good for kicking back and taking a few lanes. At that pool you will also find a small fun pool with slides. Also a 18+ only pool with steam baths, saunas and other great stuff :)
