I might be moving to Gaeta in the near future because my hubby is in the Navy. I was wondering how it is over there!?! How is the weather usually? Is it a clean place? Is it boring or lots of stuff to do? Is it alot of Americans or people who speak English?
Can you let me know all the details of the place please. I really want to know all about it before I make my decision to move there. Thanx |

Well - take a look at the Gaeta pages on VT. Gaeta is a historic place in itself, and being in Lazio is not too far from Rome. Up to your tastes to decide what's boring. The population of course speak Italian, though I guess American sailors and their families will speak English.

I am also moving to Gaeta in the near future. My boyfriend lives there but works on a cruise liner. I have been many times to the city. Are you living there yet? If so, maybe we could meet up sometime. I will be there in February.
