hi. we are going camping next weekend in walla walla and planning on visiting a bunch of wineries. bringing the kids along for designated drivers too. however i am not seeing places to camp (tent) and was wondering if anyone knew of any nice spots not too far from the wineries. was thinking along us12 along the lochsa but dont know how far it is to walla walla from there. thanks.

2 years later i am going to answer my own question. Finally made the trip to Walla Walla over the long weekend. There is no camping in Walla Walla! There is a RV park on the edge of town but it is brand new, no shade, no pool, it was 107 degrees on the first of July! The woman working reception told us to go camping to a park in Oregon 25 miles away and were we glad we did. The next night we found a budget hotel with a pool that was quite nice.
Almost 90 wineries there now and they are awesome.
