Can anyone tell me the time of the parachute drop on Ginkel Heath on Sat 18th Sept 2004

It's possible I can find out, as my Mother has been invited to parachute there, she is a skydiver. She jumped at Normandy last weekend and is in UK at the moment.
But I won't know for a week or so. Perhaps the details are on the internet somewhere.

Times have not yet been released, but as I am going to attend to the commemorations myself as well, I will keep an eye open for you.

Feel free to ask me in due time again this question, I will immediately look it up for you.

Be carefull, in the last few years the times have shifted even until mid August ! If you are going with the website information, make sure you keep on checking the content. Just to be 100% ...

Have booked flights from the morning of 17th to evening of 20th also accommodation in Nijmegen.

On my Oosterbeek and Arnhem pages are tips in regard to the Battle of Arnhem. Will assemble some extra information on it, but can tell you out front that the most intensive remembrance event is the Airborne March on the first Saturday of September in Oosterbeek. this is still the largest attended walking march in the world, every year having around 30.000 people walking! I will be one of them for the 23th time ... Ilja, my son (then almost 3 years old) will walk for the second time)

We shall never forget !

Did not know about the march on first Saturday in September and will put this in my diary for future visit maybe next year
