Can anyone give information about the weather and the sea during July?

How can I say - not too awful for my country tourism...ummm..Actually, June -Sept isn't a proper season to travel to any islands in Thailand because it's a rainy season here. However, the weather is something we can't actually control. So, once you are lucky you might not see rain for days during the season, and vice versa.

I'd say that you might have to stick to mainland, check the weather and plan your trip daily. I'm so sorry, I can't help much here.

During the wet season we generally go to Ko Samet as it seems to be one of the driest of the islands. I was down there last weekend ... it rained each day - but generally for only about 30 minutes, then you wait 30 minutes and can be out sunning yourself on the beach again.

If you dont mind this, you can certainly reap the rewards .... Saikaew Beach was the quietest I have seen it in a long time - and some of the other beaches were deserted.

Ko Samet weather in July is usually good as it is the intermonsuvial period. Wettest on Ko Samet is Sept. Sea is fine in July.
