Hi Folks,
First of all let me thank anyone who replies incase am too lazy to reply instantly . Lol . Secondly does anyone know any school in Narvik where they teach Norwegian language to foreigners. I want to study Norwegian and would love to visit Norway.A job seems difficult and a visit seems too short. So I thought stuying would be kind of fun. If anyone knows any site for any of these schools i would be more than thankful. Hmm.. take care and have fun everyone. Bye for now Marline |

Many folkehøyskoler have courses in Norwegian for foreigners, and since you will be living with Norwegians and having other classes with them you get plenty of opportunity to practice too. In addition you will have lots of fun and meet many new friends. Everyone I know who have been to a folkehøyskole has loved it.
Check out: http://www.folkehogskole.no/english_mainpage.asp The closest folkehøyskoler to Narvik are Soltun and Trondarnes, both have classes for foreigners. But if you want to start this school year (August), you must hurry and contact schools now. It takes some time to get a student visa, the school will help you with that.
