Can anyone recommend somewhere to stay in tarifa. preferably under 50 euros a night with air-conditioning.

Be careful with Gotarifa. I sent a request for a reservation and I never had an answer. Apparently I had made a mistake in my e-mail address. They booked and I never knew it nor authorized the booking. They charged one night and they have refused to reimburse such amount. They just ask you once to give them your address and if you make a mistake, they will charge you one night and you will never know it until it's too late...

Be careful with these guys, because they are dangerous.

You of gotarifa distrust the descriptions of houses are not respected, and impossible to make them admit, nor to be dedommagé if, house which you rent(praise) is not such as described on their site. Of more impossible to obtain from invoices of the services(performances), in spite of promise made for the telephone.
To ban.
