Sequoia National Park Las Vegas to Sequoia

How long is the drive likely to take? Are we crazy for driving Las Vegas to Sequoia on day and on to San Francisco the next?

Time from Las Vegas to Sequoia depends on the day and time you leave LV. Weekends are very heavy, and Sunday all day is rough. But, with time out for pit stops and food, I would say Sequoia is within a timeframe of 7 1/2 hours to 81/2 hours.
Sequoia to San Francisco is a little easier to do. Timeframe should be about 5 to 6 hours, pit stops included. Drive safe.

I did it, but I am crazy. Nearly blew the car up on the steep windy road trying to see the giant trees before sunset!

If you leave early you can get to Yosemite by nightfall - you can't drive by and miss that!
