Nazca travelling at Independence day
Posted: Sat May 22, 2004 05:13 AM UTC
I just found out that the 28th of July is Independence Day in Peru.
Intending to travel from Nasca to Arequipa with the night bus leaving Nasca on July 28th, gives me two questions:
1) Is there any bus service on July 28th from Nasca to Arequipa;
2) Is it necessary to make reservations (a long time?) in advance (we are a family of six), because maybe more people are travelling in that period

Tks for your reply!
Seeing that the Ormeno buses also leave at 15.30hrs: how long does it take to get to Arequipa?
If we would arrive before 24.00hrs, it would be better to take that bus, thus avoiding nto spend the night in the bus (which is not to comfortable, especially for children). On the Ormeno I-site, there is no tariff- or timetable available. Do you know where I can fund that?
Tks again!

Hi Jaime,
Tks for your reply (and your English is not bad at all)
But where I was referring to is the 22.00 bus from Nasca to Arequipa or the 15.30 bus from Nasca to Arequipa. I am wondering whether the 15.30 Nasca bus still arrives at the same day in Arequipa.
Tks. again!

Hi :

if you need a pretty hotel two stars, you can visit www.inkahostel.com .
Inkahostel is located in Miraflores , close to beach,
pubs, malls .
I Know the price is US$ 12.00 per person in triple room(inclued, brekfast and taxs).

Best wishes,

milecita
