You should contact my friend Susan (http://susanstevenson.net/photography.html) as she is an avid photographer here in Fairbanks and has also taken flightseeing/photographing flights.

Stan Stephens is a well known sightseeing company in Valdez. It is a little more affordable than other charters and is a wonderful opportunity to photograph whales, eagles, sea otter, dolphins, etc. If you have time for Denali National Park, be sure to contact www.denali.org for a great chance to learn more about this pristine National Park that is located off the Parks Hwy between Fairbanks and Anchorage.

If you will be in Denali, a great group to get in touch with ahead of time is the Denali Foundation. You may reach them at www.denali.org.

Tell them Debbie in Fairbanks sent you...lol :)

Really, a very knowledgable staff!!!

This isn't whales or bears, but...Talkeetna Aero Services flys out of the Healy, AK. airport. They fly over Denali National Park. Then the flight continues around and then OVER Mt. McKinnley. It is absolutly incredible!! Awsome photo ops...They also do Glacier Landings where you can actually walk around on a glacier on Mt. McKinnley. Denali Park, and surrounding area, has much to offer, from wildlife to fine food, to golf. No reason to get bored here!
