I am planning to go to the TT races in June for a long weekend. I have friends in Douglas so accomodation not a problem. Which is the best weekend to go?
Does anyone want to meet up while I`m there for a drink or three? Biker7 |

The best weekend to go is definately the weekend of the Sat 5th June. THis is the weekend which has Mad Sunday so there will be lots on.
I am working in the Beer Tent which is on the main prom and it will be really busy it is when the majority of people arrive. Hopefully i will see you lot down there.

Thanks Feefox
Will definitely come that weekend. Hope to see you at the beer tent. If not will probably go to the Hilton nightclub at some stage - might see you there. Biker7

Sorry to disagree, but as a veteran of 20 odd TTs, I'd go (and have occasionally) for the final weekend. That way you get to see the Senior & Classic races.
Mad Sunday isn't that big a deal these days. Last time I was over for it, they didn't even put on a Street Party. The final Friday at the Bushy's beer tent is usually a well-lubricated and entertainting event. However, if you visit the TT website (www.tt.com I think, although easy to Google) you'll find a timetable and a forum.
