Rabat visit Rabat

Hi,
I will be in Rabat from 25 to 28 May. I need an amateur guide to help me in Rabat. I just can speak English. I can't pay so much. My guide friend will help me to get in touch with some Moroccan people in Rabat. I prefer university students especially who studies English.
Thanks

Plenty of amateur guides all over Morocco. They will approach you at your point of arrival. You would not normally pay them other than buy them a drink or lunch. They get their payment from anyone else you buy things from. For example, if you take a taxi to go see the sights, you will pay an X amount to the driver and the driver will give your guide his commission. Same in shops, souvenir stalls etc.

Good thing about hooking up with a 'guide' is that the others will leave you alone. Be careful with your money of course :)

I was last week in Rabat, at Mohamed V University. What I would suggest you, is to go to the University upon your arrival. There are two of them, one in town and the other on the campus. The one in town would be easier to reach for you.It is close to Bab Er Rouah and to the Royal palace. Look at :

What are you studying ? You should choose the university that fits with your studies. In the university building, you will meet real students and they will be more friendly than those that you might meet in the street and say they are students.
Don't hesitate to call me on my mail box.

Thank you very much for your kindly answer. I postponed my scheduled visit for a week. I will be in Morocco at the beginnig of June. I was looking for a guide for my business conversations. That's why I noticed my guide request on this forum. As a tourist, I can go around everywhere by myself in Morocco. Because I have been in Morroco for twice. Thank you very much for your provided information.
Take care of you
