I am planning on going to Quetzaltenango for a few weeks of Spanish immersion. Any specific precautions I should take (Malaria, Yellow Fever etc.)?

Thanks

malaria and yellow fever is not necesarry, but hepatitis A would be a good idea.
you should also get a jab against tetanus if you don't allready have one.

by the way:
quetzaltenango is the perfect place to study spanish.
i did it myself last year and was very satisfied.

Thanks, which school did you go to? I've heard that Ulew Tinimit is a good school and I like what I have been reading on their own web site.
