| Linz | Linz to Salzburg Posted: Wed April 28, 2004 06:48 AM UTC
Hi,
I want to travel with my family from Linz to Salzburg. What is the best and the cheapest way to travel. Is taking a one-way rental a good option? Thanks! |

Hi !
The distance is something like 2 hours by train and the oneway ticket might be around 30 euros. a oneway rental car is certainly much more expensive, but it makes sense of course, if you are a small group of 3-5 people. www.oebb.at - for the train-timetable good luck ! Michael

Linz is one hour and 15 minutes from Salzburg by train.
Car rental is hell expensive - not recommended. Greetings from Salzburg Birgit
