I am planning to live in Guanajuato next fall and winter. I know there is a big univ. population, but I am no longer in my twenties and am worried about being isolated. Is there anyone who can tell me whether there is an active community of ex-pats?

Hi! I lived in Guanajuato for a while, and although there are many students, there is also a large population of older people. There is a school called Instituto Falcon, which I attended to learn spanish, and the age range was from 25-75, with the majority being older.
