How reliable are the flights from Kiev to Lugansk, and back to Kiev? Do they get cancelled much? I ask that question in case I need to make alternate plans especially from Lugansk to Kiev. I do not want to miss my flight out of Kiev back to the States.

Hi, Chris. There is one flight daily (except Saturdays and Sundays) in both directions, from Kiev at 1930 hours (from 'Kiev' airport, not 'Borispol' if you know what I'm talking about) and from Lugansk at 0700 hours, and as far as I know it's not ususally rescheduled/ cancelled.

I have never had a flight cancelled, but I have heard that it happends quite often in the winter due to snow. whats realy cool is now there are flights from BSP to Lugansk. Instead of the pain of changing airports.

I'm glad they go from BSP to Lugansk now. It always was a pain. The price hasn't gone up much either. $90 one way.

My flight was cancelled for the first time this November, it seems that they do not have instruments to fly in weather. The train is a wonderful experiance!! it takes 14 hours and is full of great folks. the dining care is well stocked and serves suprisingly good food. The drinks are warm though. even the beer.
I would suggest a 4 berth cabin. it takes 14 hours and is very pleasant. A two berth cabin is just to confining, and the 4 berth cabins are always a party. $35.00 USD and you are there. thickets can be purchased at the airport and taxi is less than $10.00

i just read your story about that girl you should meet in Lugansk. Did you finally met her and how she looked like? Does she was a scam or normal girl and you still in touch with her? i m telling you this cause i m actually in touch with a girl from Lugansk who seems to be real,never asked me money and she gave me her phone number, and im plans to go to visit her even if i knew Lugansk s scam fame since 2002 (i ve been many times in Kiev but never there) Massimo
