I'm planning on attending either the Mount Hagen show or the Goroka Show in Papua and would like to know which show is the largest and also can you walk down among the dancers, etc during the show or are you confined to a fenced area?
Anyone know of cheap budget accomodations at either place? Thank you for your time, jackie |

I'm really not sure which is bigger or friendlier, but if it's cheap accomodation you want, the Lutheran Guest House in Mt Hagen is really good and really cheap, and I'm sure there are similar mission guest houses in Goroka. In Hagen, there's always Haus Poroman -- a little pricy, but it's quite nice and can organize tours for you to other tourist destinations such as the Sepik River. Not sure how to contact these places, though, but you might find something on the internet.
