is it economical for my boyfriend and i to go to Taormina from Rome and stay in Taormina for 2-3 nights only?
We just have a one-week vacation to see Italy. My boyfriend was born in USA but his ancester came from sicily, so he would like to see a bit of sicily if it is possible on his 1st trip to italy. any advice on transportation and accommodation? |

It might be economical in financial terms, but not in terms of time, unless you fly.

Hey,
Yeah i reckon fly from Rome to Catania, you might be able to get a train not sure..or by coach from catania airport would probs take you all the way along the coast to taormina.
