there is a ferry from athens to the greek part of cyprus and from tasucu and mersin in turkey to the turkish part.

Actually right now all ferries to Cyprus from all other countries are suspended for some reason. The only ferries are those that go to Turkish-occupied northern Cyprus, and those appear to originate only in a few cities on Turkey's Mediterranean coast, such as Antalya and farther east from there.
